Living joyfully with purpose
In the chaos of life, we all struggle to some degree with distress, uncertainty, unsteadiness, and perhaps loneliness. Sometimes we just need a moment to rest and centre. And other times, we need help and support. It takes courage to ask for help. My commitment to you is to create a safe confidential space for you to be heard.
Therapy can help you to understand existing patterns and process through stuck points, but more importantly it will focus on cultivating new thinking habits, behavioural patterns, and building resilience to create a lasting change for you.

Therapeutic Approaches
I am a Clinical Psychologist and my treatment approach is grounded in the science and in trusting our own innate wisdom of the body.
Treatment will take a holistic approach and take into account brain, mind, body, behaviour, and emotions. I work from a Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy approach incorporating mindfulness, positive psychology, neuroscience, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1 training). |
Cognitive Behaviour TherapyBy recognizing how our beliefs influence our feelings and actions, we can start to reframe thought content and develop more helpful beliefs and taking steps towards our goals.
|
Mindfulness & ResilienceThrough training our mind i) to stay in the present and ii) to take in the good, we can start to shift our brain's habitual patterns of rumination and focusing on the threat.
|
Trauma ProcessingEye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy are useful techniques to help assimilate unprocessed trauma reactions.

'Kinexus' |
Originating from the word 'kinetic' (movement) and 'nexus' (focal point, or connections).
In the world of dance and martial arts, moving with strength and grace often requires one to connect with the steadiness in core and axis, as well as to connect with others and the world (and music). The name Kinexus holds my intention for supporting you in developing a steady inner core and strong connections with the world to enable movement in the direction of your choice. |
Location Address:
