I am a Clinical Psychologist and my treatment approach is grounded in the science and in trusting our own innate wisdom of the body.
Treatment will take a holistic approach and take into account brain, mind, body, behaviour, and emotions. I work from a Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy approach incorporating mindfulness, positive psychology, neuroscience, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1 training), and pain management strategies from Explained Pain and Graded Motor Imagery (GMI). |

'Kinexus' |
|
Originating from the word 'kinetic' (movement) and 'nexus' (focal point, or connections).
In the world of dance and martial arts, moving with strength and grace often requires one to connect with the steadiness in core and axis, as well as to connect with others and the world (and music). The name Kinexus holds my intention for supporting you in developing a steady inner core and strong connections with the world to enable movement in the direction of your choice. |
